Imagination Garden

The Imagination Garden is a special part of the 3rd grade science program.  Once a week, the 3rd graders get to work in the garden where they learn how to grow vegetables from seed, care for crops organically and how to enjoy the harvest!  All lessons are taught and prepared by Ms. Stephanie Baker and are in line with the third grade science objectives set by the district and the school.   Whether you have green thumb or black one the garden is always in need of volunteers.  Volunteers are essential to the success of the garden with weekly tasks such as watering, pruning and weeding.  Volunteers are also needed to help out with special projects like the “Salad Party Day” where students discover the joy of eating fresh veggies from their own garden! If you are interested in volunteering in the garden, check the “Imagination Garden Helper” box in Volunteer manager. If you have any questions click here to email the garden representative.
